At the Movies Thursday, March 19, 2009 SXSW is in full swing and I’m at the movies. The SXSW Film Festival to be exact. I love hoping from movie to movie and seeing what’s new and fresh. In this photo, I’m at a movie titled “My Suicide”, written and directed by David Lee Miller. Other writers deserve credit also, but I’d have to look them up. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars and would see it again if the opportunity jumped in front of me. (Late night on cable? I definitely wouldn’t change the channel trying to find something better.) Oops! Kind of got off subject there... ok... In this photo, I’m hanging with Daniel Johnston. He sat next to me in the theatre and it was great to talk to him and acknowledge the fact that some of the soundtrack was of him making.
